A Pirate's Life For Smee
My apologies

So we’ve been doing a lot of work on painting and remodeling our house basically, so not only has it been busy, but my area around my computer is cluttered, which is why my time online has been very minimal lately. I shall return to RPing asap. Hope all of you are doing well.

A Pirate’s Life For Smee: @Aurora

Aurora blinked harshly into the sunlight when the bag was pulled off her head. Her hands were tied behind her back as were her legs. She blew a lock of hair out of her eyes so she could see better. Suddenly, the princess was knocked onto her side as the ground heaved…

“Get me out of this thing right now!” she ordered, ignoring the looks from the other men aboard. “I am a princess and princesses are not to be treated as such, that I do know.” Once more, she was knocked to the ground and struggled to get back up. As the men continued to laugh, she started to look around nervously. “Why am I here? Why me?”

As one of the other pirates knocked Aurora back to the ground, Smee winced, ashamed that he was only a part of this through association. Trying to speak quickly and quietly so the other pirates couldn’t hear, Smee says to the princess, “Cap’n intends on capturing as many princesses as he can, he hungers for power lassy, I’ve never seen him like this. It’s as if he’s gone mad!” He continues to nervously look around, “Listen, lassy, I’m on your side, you have to believe me. Now, I have a plan, but I must wait until it is safe to tell you.”

Mallory loved the beach like none other. It gave her a chance to tan while wearing that hot new bikini she bought at Anaheim Mall last weekend. The sun was bright and shining, and thankfully Dragaunus had decided to give the Ducks a whole week off. She could already…

“Uh, sure,” she said, hesitantly sitting up and lowering her sunglasses to see the piece of paper the fat man was holding. He looked like a tourist based on his funny looking sandals and his too small striped shirt. Mallory couldn’t help but wonder why on Puckworld he would ever wear a hat that made him look like Santa to the beach, though. She finally looked at the map he was holding and continued to flip it every which way, trying to figure out why California looked like a funny shaped island. “What exactly is this a map of?”

“Why, this is Neverland, of course!” Smee exclaimed enthusiastically. However, the fact that this “duck” didn’t know what the map was of was a bit unsettling. Smee took another look around and realized that absolutely nothing looked familiar. He scratched his head over his beanie and nervously asked, “Aye, I’m not in Neverland anymore, am I?”

Suddenly, the princess was knocked onto her side as the ground heaved violently. She groaned as she struggled to sit back up. When she did, a man was looking back at her. “Unhand me!”

Smee quickly and nervously stuck his hands out to shush the girl. “Aye lassy I am terribly, terribly sorry that you are in this…situation….” he says as he looks over her bound body. He quickly looks around himself to make sure nobody is watching or listening. “Now, I don’t need you to believe me when I say this wasn’t my plot, but I do need you to trust me so I can help you.” As the other pirates begin to laugh from a distance, Smee begins to shift nervously and anxiously.

Mallory loved the beach like none other. It gave her a chance to tan while wearing that hot new bikini she bought at Anaheim Mall last weekend. The sun was bright and shining, and thankfully Dragaunus had decided to give the Ducks a whole week off. She could already feel her peach colored feathers turning a darker color. The duck closed her eyes to catch some z’s when she could no longer feel the warm sun. Lowering her sunglasses, Mallory asked, “Um, excuse me?”

Smee had rowed upon an unfamiliar shore and had wandered along the beach for quite some time now. He knew he had gotten lost, but everyone seemed busy, and Smee didn’t want to interrupt anyone. Finally, Smee came across what seemed to be a girl duck, who was laying out in the sun. Smee scratched his head, confused by this sight. Is that a duck the size of a person? Smee thought to himself. He decided to approach the duck and hovered over it. To his surprise, the duck caught him. When it said “Excuse me”, Smee became a bit startled, surprised the duck could talk. Judging by it’s voice, it sounded female. “Ummm…I’m…” Smee hesitated to talk, still confused. He finally took a breath and said, “I seem to be a bit lost, lassy, would you mind showing me where I am?” He pulls out a map of Neverland and shows it to her.

Of course. Meg rolled her eyes. The man had not caught her hint to leave her alone. It had been a silent hint, it never worked yet, but she had hoped. She fixed her hairband again, keeping her eyes on the scenery around her.

“Well, itwasa good day,” she told him, implying his presence was hindering the relatively ‘good’ day she could be having. His good intentions did not cross her mind. He was just another man approaching her because she was a woman.

Smee, oblivious to the girl’s cynicism and her hints that she wanted to be alone, stayed by her side. He scratched his head, wondering if there was something wrong or if this girl acted this way all the time. He took his beanie off and said, “Aye, me apologies lassy, but I seem to be a bit lost…” Smee pulled out a map of Neverland and held it out for the girl to see. “Say, can you point on the map to where I am?” Though the girl seemed to be a bit down and Smee didn’t want to make it worse, he needed all the help he could get on finding out exactly where he was.

No one had pulled off their hat at Meg in a while. Fine, I’ll bite. Taking one more moment to look at him better, she wondered how more pathetic he could be. Maybe he was harmless with all that pathetic. Guess she was going to find out.

Carefully, she sauntered over to the man. “Let’s see,” she peered at the map. Never had she seen such a place. That thought appeared to be along the correct lines as the title read, “Neverland.”

“Unless I have been transported to a different land,” Meg told the plump man, arms crossed. “Which would not be abnormal,” she murmured. Memories of Hades realm came to her, but this place seemed normal enough. No dead trees. Perpetual fire. Spirit river. “You are very lost. Or I am very lost” That was disconcerting.

((OOC: I kinda like the idea that Meg has found herself in Neverland. Wanna go for it?))

(OOC: That’s an awesome idea, I’m rolling with it!)

Smee pointed at Mermaid’s Lagoon on the map, “Well lassy, I do remember passing by here not too long ago. Aye, but this is the furthest inland I’ve ever been without me Cap’n! He knows Neverland like the back of his hook!” Smee makes his hand into a hook shape and points at is when he says this. “And as for meself, I do not, and I am now lost,” he finally finishes. Looking closer at the girl, Smee says, “Say, are you from around these parts? You don’t look like an Indian, and you’re definitely not a mermaid…Aye, I got it! You must be a friend of Wendy’s! Am I right, lassy?”

((OOC: Sorry! Said I would watch for it, then got sidetracked! xD))

“You know Wendy?” Meg asked, now curious. It has been a long while since she talked to the lovely young girl. A tug at her heart at the memory made her a little sweeter. “She’s from London, right? That isn’t around here… I am definitely not a mermaid or nymph.” She recalled her encounter with Ariel, even longer ago than Wendy. The young sighed, resigned. “I must have gotten transported to this Neverland.”

(OOC: Totally ok, I think we’ll be just fine :P)

Smee’s face lit up, “Aye, I do know Wendy! Young lass, likes the color blue and may have mentioned a young lad by the name Peter Pan?” Smee was hoping they were talking about the same person. When the girl said that she was transported, Smee got a puzzled look on his face. He scratched his head and asked, “Transported? How?”

After Smee called out to the young girl and she didn’t turn around, he thought maybe she didn’t hear him. He began to cautiously approach her. As he got closer, he noticed she was just throwing pebbles in the water. He scratched his head and thought about making sure nothing was wrong. As he got closer, he cheerfully said, “Why good day to you, lassy!” He pushed his glasses up his nose as he anxiously waited for her response.

(OOC: Totally ok, I would be too, especially if I was approached by a chubby, short, old man wearing glasses :P)
